Grown bigger to taste better

Sunflower seeds, grown jumbo

Every bag starts with a 24/64-inch sunflower seed, about a third bigger than the seed most brands pack, roasted with more flavor and less salt. Six flavors, no-salt to fully loaded, in 5 oz and 16 oz. Every one carries the Stache-Approved seal.

The difference

Why our seeds are bigger

The name is the spec. Jumbo sources a 24/64-inch seed while most snack seeds run 16 to 18/64-inch. That's a visibly larger shell and a meatier kernel, so there's more seed in every crack.

Then we season for flavor instead of salt. You taste the ranch, the chipotle, the barbecue, with the seed doing the work underneath. See the whole story →

Sunflower seed FAQ

Are Jumbo sunflower seeds really bigger?

Yes. Jumbo uses a 24/64-inch sunflower seed, about a third larger than the 16 to 18/64-inch seed most brands pack. Bigger shell, bigger kernel, more to crack into.

Do you make a no-salt sunflower seed?

We do. Mega No Salt runs 5mg of sodium a serving. Our salted flavors also run lower-sodium than most, up to 50% less than legacy brands.

In-shell or kernels?

Our bags are in-shell for the full crack-and-spit. The resealable one-handed seal is built for exactly that.

How should I eat sunflower seeds?

One-handed: load a few, crack, work the kernel free, spit the shell. Road trips, dugouts, back pockets.

Can I buy in bulk or wholesale?

Yes. Salted Original and Wild Ranch come in a 16oz (1 lb) bag, and wholesale runs through World Food Products.
